Lidl to start selling BMWs

Later this year, select Lidl supermarkets in Germany will offer young used BMWs. The Schwarz Group, the holding company of Lidl and Kaufland, is swapping its Audi company cars for BMWs. The German magazine Manager Magazin reports Lidl is ordering 10,000 new cars at a discount of between 48 and 50%. After 18 months, the cars will be offered to Lidl customers in Germany. Prices have not yet been announced.
