PepsiCo to discuss fleet safety at Fleet Europe Summit
In a fast-changing fleet sector faced by the challenges of vehicle supply shortages, rising costs and electrification, one fleet responsibility has remained constant – the duty of care of employers towards employees who drive for business. Whether behind the wheel of a company car, van or truck, or their own private cars, any employees who have to make a business journey should be under the protective umbrella of the organisation.
Minimising road risk is not only the right thing to do, but also a smart approach, given the potential impact of crashes on the health and well-being of employees, as well as the financial impact on corporate bottom lines and the reputational risk to brand values.

EuroNCAP
Michiel van Ratingen, Secretary General of EuroNCAP, will focus on the role of new vehicle technologies, and especially advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) that are giving drivers unprecedented levels of protection while behind the wheel.
Connected vehicles and telematics systems are also helping fleets to identify higher risk drivers and to implement training and safety policies that reduce collisions and accident claims and drive down premiums. Julie Meynard, Director of Arval Consulting, will discuss how connected insurance can empower safer and more sustainable driving, while Damian Penney, VP EMEA, Lytx will detail best practices for managing fleet insurance costs.
