9 nominees for the Fleet Industry Awards pitch at the Village

This year, 14 candidates applied for the Fleet Indstry Award, which celebrates practical innovation that contributes to the profession of the fleet manager. 9 were shortlisted by the jury, based on the project submitted, and they all had 5 minutes to pitch their product in the Fleet Europe Village to convince the audience. Their votes count for 30 per cent of the result, the jury's votes for 70 per cent.

First up for the pitch session was ALD with their ALD Car Sharing solution, represented by Mrs Carla Bassotti. Omoove was next, with their Enhanced Vehicle Management solution, pitched by Mr Edwin Colella. DriveNow, the car sharing platform, was the third company to tell its story by its CEO, Mr Paul Kluger.

LeasePlan pitched its end-to-end EV programme, bringing forward Mathijs Van der Goot. Nick Chambers from TMC Transition+ explaned how his company helps fleets to make seamless transitions. WeNow had delegated Marion Depouilly to convince the audience of its carbon offsetting proposition.

TMC was represented a second time with their fuel management programme TMC Fuel+, pitched by Mr Angus Leeson. The penultimate pitch was by Athlon, represented by Paul Bouwmeester, who explained the Change My Car offer. The pitch session was closed by Matt Stevens, CEO of FleetCarma, a Geotab company, who applied with their driver profiling solution for EVs.

The winner will be announced at 16:45 - stay tuned!
