Voi wins bid to provide micro-mobility in Oslo

Micro-mobility operator Voi has been awarded a contract by Oslo municipality to provide shared e-scooter services in the city from 1 April 2022. Voi is one of three operators to have been awarded contracts, the others being TIER and Bolt.

Christina Moe Gjerde, General Manager of Nordics at Voi, said: “We are proud that the municipality has trust in us and look forward to delivering on what we have promised. Through local cooperation, development of parking solutions as well as the launch of our new Voiager 5 e-scooter, we want to contribute to a safe and accessible city for all.”

Collaboration with Association for Visually Impaired

Collaboration with local stakeholders has been central to Voi’s commitment to Oslo municipality. One example of this is the company’s recent collaboration with Norges Blindeforbund (Association for Visually Impaired).

Voi’s aim in Oslo is to deliver a safe, accessible and sustainable e-scooter service. Focusing on both riders and non-riders. The service to the city includes parking solutions, state-of-the-art technology and best practice in reusing and recycling.
