IONIQ Car Sharing discontinued in Amsterdam

In October 2017, Hyundai and Car4Share launched IONIQ Car Sharing on the streets of Amsterdam. Their aim was to investigate the most efficient way to bring to market a car sharing project.

Now, just over one year and 100,000 rides by 10,000 users later, the service is being discontinued. The cars will be taken off the streets by 30 December.

Hyundai has not disclosed any information on a future car sharing service.
