Sixt sharing programme also in hometown Munich
Car rental and mobility specialist Sixt SE is expanding its mobility services with a geographic extend of its shred mobility solutions. After Berlin and Hamburg, the car sharing service ‘Sixt share’ is now also available in Munich, which means the company has completed its Sixt app offering in the capital of Bavaria as well.
Nico Gabriel, Managing Director of the Sixt X division: “I’m delighted to be able to offer ‘Sixt share’, another component of our comprehensive mobility offer, in our home town as well. With our Sixt app and a 50 euros mobility start credit for every resident of Munich, we are making it easier than ever before to get from A to B without your own car. Anyone who has our app no longer needs to own a car of their own in Munich.”
With ‘Sixt share’, customers can access a diverse fleet and decide whether they want to rent a vehicle for a few minutes or for up to 27 days. Initially, the car sharing service will start in Munich with a fleet size of around 700 vehicles.
