A third bike share operator launches in Antwerp

After the well-established Velo network and the more recent Cloudbike initiative, Mobit is a third bike sharing operator to enter the Antwerp market. Mobit, already active in the Belgian cities of Mechelen, Kortrijk, Hasselt and Genk, is a free floating system.

Users can reserve a bicycle using a smartphone app. Pricing is per 20-minute time block.

The city of Antwerp has granted Mobit a three-year permit.
