New scooter service for La Défénse
American company Lime, with a branch now opened in Versailles close to Paris, is set to launch a pavement scooter sharing service in La Défense, the high-rise business district on the edge of Paris. This follows on from its existing services in Paris and Lyon. During the second quarter of next year, Lime is scheduling the installation of 52 stations in La Défense, with a total of 780 electric pavement scooters.
This service, which will be in free-floating mode, is thus destined for the business community of La Défense. It is not the first pavement scooter service in the district, as ‘Wetrott’ is already in place.
