Self-driving shuttle for Lyon

In Lyon, France, a new self-driving shuttle is set to come into operation at the beginning of 2019. Known as MIA (from the French for Intelligent Autonomous Mobility) it will take passengers from the Meyzieu ZI tram station close to the Gaulnes business park, to the offices in this park. This 1.2 kilometre route will be free of charge and the trip, which includes three stops, will take around 15 minutes. MIA can carry 15 passengers, top speed will be 25 kmh, and an operator will be on board in case of problems.
