Guy Van Gaever is new General Manager of MVI

Effective 7 January 2019, Guy Van Gaever is the new General Manager of Macadam VAB Inspection (MVI), following into the footsteps of Bertrand Donck, who held this function since the merger of Macadam and VAB Fleet Services in July 2017.

Guy Van Gaever (48) has acquired extensive experience in the automotive industry. Until the end of 2018, he was Manager B2B at Opel Belgium, having previously worked for Nissan, Alcopa, Fiat and Koopman. In his previous experience, he has specialised in commercial and operational development of fleet management and leasing products.

In his new position, Guy Van Gaever will expand and consolidate the services provided by MVI, focusing on sustainable growth of the existing customer portfolio and meeting new needs on the inspection market. “The combination of a strong local supplier like VAB and the European coverage of Macadam Group allows MVI to offer innovative, international solutions and to guarantee a local approach. That’s what we will continue to embody in the future,” says Guy Van Gaever.

Bertrand Donck stays CEO of the parent company Macadam Europe NV. Macadam is specialised in end-of-contract vehicle inspections and related services.
