UBench digitalizes claims for VWFS

Belgium-based automotive services provider UBench made a deal with Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS) to further digitalize their claims value chain.

UBench operates a holistic, secure and independent online platform that delivers real-time data to all service providers. Under the terms of the deal, UBench will provide VWFS with customer-focused damage management.

This will allow VWFS to provide an all-in-one solution that handles car damage from start to finish. As a result, cycle times will be shorter, transparency will increase, and drivers will have less to worry about.

UBench is no stranger to innovation and growth, but the deal with VWFS does stand out, says Manuel Medinger, CEO of UBench: “Engaging with the biggest captive company in Europe is a unique achievement. It shows that our vision of creating a pro-active claims management process in a seamless ecosystem aligns with their mission to fulfill mobiity demands as a software-based mobility company.”

For VWFS, the deal will generate significant efficiency gains while VWFS customers will experience “an exceptional claims service”, according to Mr Medinger.

Speaking for VWFS, Thomas Brüggemann (Head of Claims and Service Management) said the company is “extremely satisfied with how flexible and customer-oriented UBench works with our project team.”

UBench builds “exceptional customer journeys” for leasing companies, brokers and insurance companies by optimizing more than 500,000 claims, maintenance and end-of-lease processes every year.
