IFMI: Which trends will impact corporate fleet strategy in 2022?

This year, IFMI focuses on the challenges awaiting international fleet managers in 2022. The upcoming IFMI session will present a critical learning opportunity for international fleet managers who want to take the best of last year's hard-learned lessons, and use that knowledge to guide their path towards sustainability and success in 2022. 

Trends and tax 

At the IFMI session on 25 January, hosted by Fleet Europe Editor-in-Chief Steven Schoefs, two industry experts will review the impact of the trends of 2021, and underline the critical aspects of corporate fleet strategy in 2022 to: 

  • Present a picture of the Fleet Outlook 2022, taking into account relevant trends and regulations, 
  • Dig out all fleet managers seek to know to develop their corporate fleet strategy in 2022. 

Marc Odinius, CEO of Dataforce, will take the stage in the Fleet Sales Trends 2022 presentation to go over the figures and trends in 2021 and provide an outlook for 2022. This outlook will include: 

  • a view on significant market trends, 
  • corporate fleet sales in Europe, and
  • the uptake of alternative and electric powertrains. 

Alexander Unfried, European Automotive Tax Sector Leader and Partner, PwC, will provide insight about Company Car Taxation in 2022, with: 

  • country insights, and
  • expected regulatory developments. 

2022 and beyond 

The knowledge shared by Marc Odinius and Alexander Unfried will be the subject of an interactive discussion and Q&A with IFMI partners, allowing participants to deepen their understanding of the 2022 trends and outlook.
