Is your fleet strategy Brexit-proof? Check our Wikifleet entry on the UK

Brexit dominates UK news headlines, and while much remains uncertain about Britain's exit from the European Union (including – incredibly at this late stage – whether it will actually leave on the proposed date, March 29th, or obtain a delay from the EU), what is certain at least is that the uncertainty in itself is having a negative effect on the British economy as a whole and on the fleet and lease industry in particular.

As Britain's deepest political crisis since the Second World War is entering its crucial end game, we have updated the Wikifleet entry for the United Kingdom to reflect the most recent data and events.

What's the latest on the size and evolution of the British market – both automotive as a whole, and the fleet segment specifically? What are the requirements of UK corporate car drivers? How about corporate car tax in the UK? These questions and many more can now find an answer in the updated entry on the UK in our Wikifleet database. Information will be added or amended as warranted by the situation as it changes.

Wikifleet, as hinted at by the name, aims to be a Wikipedia for fleet professionals, with entries on all major markets around the world. Check it out here – and here's a direct link to the UK page

By the way: 'wiki' stands for collaboration. Just like Wikipedia, Wikifleet will grow richer in information and more relevant for its users if they contribute their expertise. If you have information that could be of use – on the UK page or on one of the others – click on SUGGEST AN UPDATE at the bottom of each chapter and let us know!
