Mike Dennett new CEO at Alphabet UK

From 1 January 2022, Mike Dennett (pictured) will be CEO of Alphabet’s UK subsidiary. He will combine this new role with his current one as CEO of BMW Financial Services in the UK.

Mr Dennett will succeed Nick Brownrigg, who had been Alphabet UK’s CEO since 2016. Mr Brownrigg has been appointed the new CEO of BMW Group Financial Services in the Netherlands, a new role which combines both the retail financial services business and the fleet leasing and mobility operations.

From 1 November this year, Alphabet UK will also get a new CFO, in the person of Ursula Wingfield. She was appointed CFO for BMW Financial Services in the UK, a position she will too will combine with her new role.

Ms Wingfield is well acquainted with Alphabet, having served as Alphabet’s CEO in Germany for five years prior to her UK appointment. In her new role, she will replace Stefan Oswald, who is moving to Italy for a new appointment as CFO for that country’s subsidiary of BMW Bank.
