PSA to launch all-electric version of its compact vans

Groupe PSA will launch all-electric versions of its Peugeot Expert, Citroën Jumpy and Opel/Vauxhall Vivaro from 2021. Two range levels will be offered: 200 kilometres or 300 kilometres.

Groupe PSA leads the LCV segment in Europe with a 24.7% market share in the first half of 2019. The all-electric version of the compact vans will be assembled at the Hordain plant in northern France. The 200-km variant will be equipped with a 50-kWh battery, the 300-km variant with 75 kWh.

From 2021, the entire range of PSA LCVs and passenger cars will have electrified versions.

The Toyota Proace City, a badge-engineered variant of the same vehicle, will also be launched in an electrified option.
