Live on stage, the Smart Mobility Startup Finalists

Tonight the Mobility Startup Awards will be handed over to one of our 12 finalists. Even though present at the startup cafe in the Fleet Europe Village, watching them pitching on stage makes it hard to select only one winner!

For the third year in a row, the jury, consisting of Marcus Fromberg from Auto Facet/Nintec; Octavian Chelu from Frost and Sullivan; Sven Van Rossum as industry expert; and Steven Schoefs, Caroline Thonon and Vincent Degives from Nexus Communication, selected 12 finalists out of the almost 50 applications.

The 12 are present at the Fleet Europe Village around the Startup Cafe where you have the chance to meet and great them and where they pitched why they could be the Mobility Startup of the Year 2018.

Here they are in a nutshell:

Appyparking wants to make parking forgettable, by combining curbside management with parking management. The extremely detailed and accurate mapping tool results in efficient use of the curbside, and of time and money.

Carfit looks into the future where autonomous cars will need autonomous maintenance. By combining NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness science) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Carfit can diagnose and predict when wearing parts may fail and anticipate maintenance. 

Clicars aims to become the Amazon of the car market. By using a digital marketplace only, cars are delivered at home out of one central storage, Clicars makes buying and selling cars from home hassle free.

Commuty claims to be able to reduce corporate parking costs by 50%, through parking and mobility management. Therefore, Commuty integrates alternative mobility forms and remote working in its parking and mobility management platform.

Fixico wants to offer friction free damage repair by providing a platform for car damage repair handle in Europe. Besides facilitating the creation of damage reports, the application connects the report with a network of repair shops as well.

GoTo unites all forms of car sharing in one application, from peer-to-peer to corporate car sharing; hence, GoTo will power the next generation of car sharing.

Konetik helps you out to convert your fleet utmost efficient into an electric one, by providing an automated EV feasibility assessment service. 

Motion-S takes collecting data further, by combining GPS data with other useful data and generate useful insights, such as the case in which they create driver feedback based on 20 contributory factors to road accidents.

Otonomo provides a third-party cloud data platform where data can be processed in a useful and comprehensive way, in order to provide enriched data to OEMs, fleet managers and others. 

Bestmile provides a smart mobility services platform in which both autonomous, hybrids and human-driven fleets can be managed by all kind of mobility service providers.

Nauto improves driver safety by combining an AI-powered device which captures data on driver distraction and a real-time coaching feature of the device which creates an alert, preventing collisions. 

Eccomobix claims to be the only fully end-to-end platforms for car sharing, ride sharing and eventually autonomous vehicles, in order to empower smarter mobility, such as active, electric, shared and autonomous mobility.

The awards will be announced Wednesday afternoon during the Smart Mobility Startup Awards.
