Stéphane Crasnier and Claire Charbit join the board of Europcar Mobility Group

After the leadership change appointing Alain Favey (left on picture above) as CEO, Europcar Mobility welcomes two new board members. Stéphane Crasnier (middle) becomes director for fleet operations. He is joined by Claire Charbit (right), who will oversee strategy and transformation at the short-term rental company.

Stéphane Crasnier takes up the Group Chief Fleet Officer post shortly after leaving Alphabet France, where he served as president since 2018. He has a long-standing history and experience in the automotive business, having worked for Ford, Citroën and BMW, including BMW Financial Services.

“Ensuring excellence”

At Europcar, Crasnier will be responsible for managing an operational fleet of more than 250,000 vehicles in 140 countries. CEO of Europcar Favey said that his seasoned qualities will help “ensure excellence in fleet management.”

To bring Europcar up to speed with its digital and sustainability journey, Claire Charbit takes the role of Group Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer. Before, she managed a similar program at Air France-KLM. Both join the Group Executive Committee and report directly to Favey.
