AutoBinck buys Fleet Support Groep

AutoBinck Group has boosted its Smart Mobility division with the acquisition of the Netherlands-based Fleet Support Groep BV.

The takeover includes the fleet management company, Fleet Support, as well as its mobility platform, YOR24.

Both AutoBinck and Fleet Support have identified the rising trend for employees to take a flexible approach to travel, whether commuting to work or visiting clients.

“Employers are dealing with an increasingly flexible labour market, changing needs of employees and a desire for more sustainability,” said a spokesman for AutoBinck.

AutoBinck Smart Mobility had already created Radiuz to deliver access to mobility services, and said YOR24 would complement this service.

YOR24 provides detailed mobility information to mobility managers, HR managers, financial managers and employees. The platform enables staff to plan journeys, claim expenses and budget for their travel online. It covers different modes of transport, including public transport, as well as expenses arising from car journeys, such as fuel expenditure and parking.

AutoBinck operates in eight European countries, and its smart mobility division also includes Moove, the fleet telematics solution, as well as holding stakes in peer-to-peer car sharing business, SnappCar, and renewable energy supplier, Zelfstroom.
