Catch your plane without emissions at Brussels Airport

If you are travelling from Brussels Airport, chances are you will be driven to your aircraft by an electric BYD bus. Zaventem international airport has ordered a total of 30 buses from the Chinese manufacturer, including 30 charging points to charge them overnight.

The first units have already put into service. The purchase fits in Brussels Airport's intention to reduce CO2 emissions at the airport by 40% by 2030.

BYD’s electric buses have already been in service at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport since June 2015. Outside Europe, zero-emission BYD buses operate at airports in Sydney, Kansas, Los Angeles and Shenzhen.
