Frank Meijer (Hyundai) heads SAIC Europe sales dept

Former Hyundai Motor Europe Eco Car & Mobility director Frank Meijer has joined the European branch of Chinese manufacturer SAIC, where he will head the sales and marketing department and take a leading role in reviving the formerly British brand MG.

The eZS, an all-electric compact cross-over featuring a 45kWh battery is to play an important part in MG's resurrection. Meijer will be responsible for putting MG on the map again - literally, as he is to develop a new distribution network across the continent.
