Miele customer service takes delivery of ID.Buzz Cargo vans

Miele customer service takes delivery of ID.Buzz Cargo vans

While many corporate fleet customers wait a long, long time for orders of electric vehicles, particularly vans, to be delivered, members of the VWCV board have proudly handed over the first five ID.Buzz cargo vans to Miele at its head quarters in Germany.

Volkswagen and Miele have a partnership spanning many years, whereby the consumer goods manufacturer has been using VW Bulli vans from the start.

The five ID. Buzz cargo vans have been customised for Miele customer service. CEO of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles (VWCV) Carsten Intra and Lars Krause (pictured) personally handed over the vehicles to the Miele Management, thus making Miele one of the first customers to receive individualised ID. Buzz cargo vans.

Miele will implement the vehicles in customer service duty in Germany, Spain, Norway, Great Britain and Austria. Along with the special red paint that is representative of Miele, the company’s wishes for special features were implemented in the framework of a joint development process between Miele, the conversion partner Würth and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

For Lars Krause, this fits in perfectly with the strategic orientation of VWCV: “Our strategy is to offer the right vehicle for everyone. Miele is one of the first customers we are supplying with the ID. Buzz. We are doing this very intentionally to show that the ID. Buzz Cargo is a full-fledged commercial vehicle. And it is also a full-fledged service vehicle.”

Axel Kniehl, Executive Director Marketing and Sales at Miele, added: “The ID. Buzz offers a very good overall package that is excellently suited to the specific requirements of our technicians of the customer service team.”
