Hitachi develops intelligent decarbonisation solutions for UK fleets

Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions, a division of Hitachi Capital (UK), has signed a three-year deal to collaborate with Hitachi Europe on new net-zero solutions for fleet owners.

The solution aims to simplify the process of switching large commercial and public transport fleets from ICE to EVs. The partnership’s solutions looks at all aspects that need to be assessed, like the size and age of the existing fleet, the suitability of the depot and the requirements for grid upgrades, energy upgrades and driver training. It offers an end-to-end solution to accelerate the transition to low-carbon fleets.
