AUTO1 wins Remarketing Award

And the winner is… AUTO1! The German used-car specialist won the 2021 Fleet Europe Remarketing Award for its AUTO1 Price Indicator. AUTO1 edged past submissions by Cars2click and RMS/Automotive, the two other finalists, to win the accolade. 

The prize was awarded Tuesday evening at a Gala Dinner in Brussels, closing the Fleet Europe Remarketing Forum. Accepting the award were Jost Dieckhaus (pictured, centre), the company’s VP for Remarketing in Europe; and Joost Kokke (pictured, left), VP and Managing Director Benelux. The award was presented by Marcel De Rycker (pictured, right), CCO at ProovStation, sponsors of the award. 

The Fleet Europe Car Remarketing Award is given to an actor in the automotive remarketing sector for developing an innovative and outstanding project, product or service for international automotive remarketing. The jury looks for an innovation that contributes to the efficiency and transparency within the remarketing process, and/or contributes to the margin realized on the vehicles.

The jury was impressed by the AUTO1 Price Indicator, which helps dealers and fleet owners determine a fair price for their cars, also taking into account trade-ins. The application is available for free; users simply provide the VIN and some additional information, and the app analyses data from 2.5 million cars sold to arrive at a reliable dealer price, all within five minutes.
