Mazda believes in diesel post 2020

Mazda hates walking the line. Look at its design and its technical choices, with the legendary rotary engine as a case in point. Whereas its fellow countryman Toyota killed off diesel, Mazda announced it will be launching a state-of-the-art next-gen diesel in 2020.

Its recently launched SkyActiv-X combustion technology promises significant emission and fuel consumption gains, R&D Chief Christian Schultze told AutoCar.
