ALD Automotive and E.ON launch EV deployment partnership

Vehicle leasing and business mobility specialist ALD Automotive will collaborate with energy company E.ON, for the development of digital enhanced mobility, financing, and energy services. “We are committed to providing innovative and sustainable mobility solutions to better meet our clients' needs which includes the progressive implementation of responsible mobility offerings,” says John Saffrett, Chief Operating Officer of ALD.

The partnership will focus on mobility offerings for EVs for corporate customers, municipalities and private customers in Europe. In order to make the transition to EVs as easy as possible a full-service offering for fleets and private drivers will be provided. This includes consultancy, planning, installation, operation and maintenance of charging infrastructure for corporate sites, on the go and home applications. Also digital-enhanced e-car sharing solutions are on the agenda.

Country-specific collaboration
In addition, the companies have signed a cooperation agreement on a country basis. The commercial cooperation potentially covers joint activities in the Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Norway and the UK.

In Denmark, an EV subscription based leasing offer for private E.ON customers has been jointly launched this month, including  charging solutions and the access to the E.ON Drive public charging network, with 1,300 public charging spots.

In Norway, Europe’s number one EV market, E.ON and ALD Automotive have launched a fleet solution for corporates that offers electric company car leasing on the same conditions as a conventional car with a charging card and an integrated billing solution.
