Webfleet Solutions enters Hungarian market
Telematics provider Webfleet Solutions is expanding its operations into Hungary. As a first step, the Webfleet fleet management platform has been made available in the Hungarian language and has been integrated with the Hungarian electronic toll system HU-GO.
“Road transport is seen as the largest contributor of freight movement in Hungary. This is also supported by a well-developed infrastructure in the region,” said Taco van der Leij (pictured on top, left), Vice President Webfleet Solutions Europe.
The expansion into Hungary will be led by Dariusz Terlecki (pictured on top, right), Sales Director Webfleet Solutions Poland and Eastern Europe. His team in Warsaw, Poland will coordinate and oversee all activities in Hungary. He commented: “In CEE countries, the share of international transport is extremely high. Access to state-of-the-art telematics solutions to improve the efficiency of fleet operations and to help cope with emerging challenges will be welcome news for local businesses, as well as the entire economy of the region.”
Webfleet Solutions, a subsidiary of Bridgestone, is used by more than 50,000 customers worldwide and serves drivers in over 100 countries.
