Addison Lee launches global car hire service

Through its website or app, Addison Lee customers can hire cars in more than 100 cities worldwide, including Paris, Berlin, London, New York, Beijing and Johannesburg.

Addison Lee guarantees a premium service level through an affiliate network of 5,000 partners.

Booking cars across the globe is similar to the experience for the group's own London and New York operations. The company uses a combination of Apple Maps and Google Maps data for geolocation.

Addison Lee also announced a £65million-pound investment for its London and New York fleet. New cars will include models from Ford, Mercedes and Cadillac.

Addison Lee added it is looking forward to adding electric vehicles to its fleet once the required infrastructure is in place.

On 21 January 2018, Addison Lee won a Business Travel Award in the category Best Ground Transportation Company.
