A simplified way to find, book and pay for mobility
Also based in Copenhagen, eScoot aggregates shared electric vehicle (EV) information, helping users find vehicles (electric and human powered) in their city. The app can compare prices from over 250 operators across the world.
Robin Eriksson, Co-founder/CEO Cogo, said:: “You shouldn’t have to fumble between 20 different apps just to book a ride or find a scooter. This is a slow and annoying process for users as they just want to scan and go. Our vision is to take the friction out of shared mobility. By offering people a more seamless experience.“
Between them, the two companies have over 500,000 users in more than 100 countries. The acquisition means they can boost expansion plans in key markets such as Germany, France and the UK.
