WeShare expands into 7 European cities

WeShare, Volkswagen and Skoda’s free-floating carsharing service, is expanding into seven new cities across Europe in 2020.

Prague and Hamburg in the spring are to be followed by Paris, Madrid, Budapest, Munich and Milan in the course of the year. In all, WeShare will be offering 8,400 all-electric vehicles in these cities.

In Prague and Budapest, the company will collaborate with Skoda, in the other cities, with Volkswagen, offering the e-Golf, e-up! and the ID.3.

WeShare started operations in Berlin in 2019 with 1,500 e-Golfs. It now has 50,000 registered users in the German capital, three-quarters of whom are active users (meaning they have used the service at least once).
