Enterprise opens its first car hire branch in Norway

The three global car hire brands of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car have opened their first branch in Norway.

The companies are all part of Enterprise Holdings, the world’s largest car rental operator.

Their first rental station in Norway is at Oslo airport, and there are plans to open more branches in the country.

Enterprise franchisee, Shared Mobility A/S, will run the new rental station. Shared Mobility A/S is jointly owned by Nordania Leasing, Denmark’s biggest leasing company, and the Semler Group, a Danish car importer and dealership group that sells Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and Seat vehicles. Shared Mobility A/S already operates the Enterprise network in Sweden and Denmark.

Michail Mavrovitis, Assistant Vice President of EMEA Franchise Operations, Enterprise Holdings, said: “Norway is an important economy and an essential location for our rapidly expanding European and global network. It is a country with a growing appetite for shared mobility, which is an important aspect of what Enterprise can bring to customers.”
