Sixt launches flexible car subscription SIXT+

The pandemic has changed everyone’s mobility needs, and Sixt is responding by launching SIXT+, an all-inclusive car subscription that is completely flexible – it can be cancelled on a monthly basis.

Due to the corona crisis, the need for individual, non-shared mobility has increased. But so has the reluctance to buy or lease a car: those are commitments that are too expensive and too long, respectively, for these uncertain times.

No commitment
Enter SIXT+, a solution designed exactly for these times. Unlike car-sharing or short-term rentals, the formula, which is available to subscribers in Germany, allows users to drive their own car. And unlike buying or leasing, it does so without customers having to enter into a years-long commitment.

Starting from €348 per month, SIXT+ offers carefree all-inclusiveness: registration cost, comprehensive insurance coverage, servicing and repair, and more. The contract can be cancelled on a monthly basis, after a minimum term of 30 days.

SIXT+ subscribers can enjoy the latest vehicle models on a permanent basis, without a high down payment or long delivery times. They can choose from various categories, from small cars to luxury sedans. A few days after signing the contract, the car chosen by the subscriber will be available at the nearest of 30 Sixt stations across Germany.

For every need
“SIXT+ is the logical response to changing mobility needs,” says Konstantin Sixt, Sixt SE Management Board member responsible for Sales. “This extends beyond the corona era.”

SIXT+ can be booked via the revamped sixt.de website, and via the Sixt app. The company boasts that, with SIXT rent, SIXT share, SIXT ride and now SIXT+, it is the first mobility provider worldwide to offer mobility solutions for every need on a single platform.
